With James Cameron revealing his plans for a better 3D experience, ‘Avatar’ fans surely have a reason to rejoice. Gear up for another trip back to Pandora that offers much more in terms of visual delight and advanced technical acumen. The blockbuster moving is to be followed by an apt sequel and Cameron is leaving no stone unturned for it.
Promising to take cinematic experience to a whole new high, Cameron is gearing up to delight his fans. Both the sequels, ‘Avatar 2’ and ‘Avatar 3,’ are believed to be high on emotional as well as visual intricacies.
Cameron revealed his plans to do away with some of the fallacies of 3D movies that may leave the viewers feeling sick or nauseated. He opines that such effects are because of the flickering images, and has got nothing to do with 3D technology. “For Avatar 2, what I’m most interested in is getting theatres to up their light level,” Cameron said.
He is planning to make a major change in the 3D technology by shooting the movies at 48 or 60 frames per second to eliminate the visual glitches. At present, 3D movies are made with 28 frames per second, that bring a lazy feel to the images.
The sequels are all set to weave the same magic of ‘Avatar,’ that was the fruit of Cameron’s rich imagination and daring. Avatar, the highest grossing movie of all times is all set to get deserving predecessors with Cameron’s relentless efforts.
Cameron believes that 3D movies are more realistic and visually enhanced, making the visual glitches more apparent. Gearing up to give another treat to movie fans world-over, Fox chairmen Jim Gianopulos and Tom Rothman, have declared the sequels as their highest priority.
Likely to be released on the Christmas of 2014 and 2015, the sequels have already created a buzz. Busy with scripting of the sequels, Cameron is not parting with any details about the movies. So, just wait and keep your fingers crossed as Cameron, the pioneer of creative movies prepares to deliver more hits.
